ABE KOPOLOVICH, DPT, MBA
Physical Therapist, Director of Rehab
Dr. Abe graduated LIU with a BS/MS in PT with Honors Distinction in 2003, Post-Clinical Doctorate (DPT) in 2007, MBA-Healthcare from Touro College in 2010, and an Advanced Orthopedic Residency from Touro College in 2013. He has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2000. Dr. Kopolovich treats all ages from infancy, orthopedics, and geriatrics. He specializes in Torticollis, Orthopedic injury and surgery, and Geriatric impairments such as arthritis. Dr. Abe grew up in Boro Park and has been an active part of the community for over 30 years. He is fluent in Yiddish, Russian, and Hebrew.
RIKKI KOPOLOVICH, OT
Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab
Rikki Kopolovich is a graduate from Touro College where she earned a BS/MS in occupational therapy with honors in January 2008. She has been an active member of the Occupational Therapy Association since 2010. Her family is three generations in Boro Park and a staple reputation as community leaders. Rikki is the conductor in the office making sure that all things run smoothly. She enjoys painting and meteorology.
ALAN FRIEDMAN, MD, FAAPMR
Physiatrist - Coordinator of Rehab
Dr. Friedman graduated from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in 1993, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation. He is a specialist in diagnosing nerve pathologies using EMG analysis and is an expert in treating spine, sports and rehabilitation issues. Dr. Friedman grew up in West Orange, NJ and currently lives in Israel. He manages both practices in Israel and NY treating patients with unsurpassed one-on-one quality.
Huifang Li graduated from LaGuardia Community College in 2018 and is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She believes that there will be a great sense of happiness and accomplishment when she does something for others to improve their quality of life. She was born and raised in Guangdong, China and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She is an outgoing and friendly person who likes reading, singing, and photography.
Danielle was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. She comes from a middle eastern background and is fluent in Hebrew. She is currently an EMT and volunteers in BCEMS during the school year. She is pursuing her dream to become a physical therapist with the hopes of changing peoples’ lives. She enjoys the challenge and loves tackling them with a smile. Her enthusiasm and demeanor encourage the patients to progress and get well.
Elizabeth graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BA in Sociology. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Elizabeth is extremely patient and loves kids to work with kids. In her free time, Elizabeth loves to travel, go out with friends and create new artworks. She aspires to one day work with children of all ages.
Susanna is originally from Armenia. She hopes to become a Physical Therapist and has volunteered/worked in the field for over two years. Susanna enjoys helping others and is very patient with people; she brings a calming feel to everything she does.
Wesley Brooks was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He has always had an interest in health sciences, specifically patient care and rehabilitation. He really enjoys helping people and tries hard to assist in anyway possible. Pursuing a degree in Human Biology, he hopes to one day have a career in rehabilitation or become a physical therapist.
Yoni joins our team after completing a year of religious studies in Israel he aspires to become a Physical Therapist. He has a passion for orthopedic physical therapy and enjoys helping others. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, boating and playing basketball.
Vincent was born in the Philippines and raised in Brooklyn NY. He graduated with a BS in Health & Nutrition Science and is pursuing a Physical Therapist Assistant degree. In his free time, Vincent loves playing basketball, hiking, and playing guitar. Vincent is fluent in English and Tagalog (Philippines).
