Physiatrist - Coordinator of Rehab

Dr. Friedman graduated from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in 1993, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation. He is a specialist in diagnosing nerve pathologies using EMG analysis and is an expert in treating spine, sports and rehabilitation issues. Dr. Friedman grew up in West Orange, NJ and currently lives in Israel. He manages both practices in Israel and NY treating patients with unsurpassed one-on-one quality.



PT Homecare Director

Dr. Jason Ramdeen, DPT is currently the program director of physical therapy at NYU Langone Hospital where he has been for the last 15 years. He has over 16 years of experience in adult physical therapy rehabilitation including neurology, orthopedic and many other geriatric impairments. Jason graduated from Long Island University in 2004 with a combined BS/MS in physical therapy and completed his clinical doctorate in 2005. Jason has an advanced orthopedic degree in physical therapy from Touro College. He is a member of the Academy of Traumatic Brain Injury Specialists and is an APTA Certified Instructor for physical therapy students.



Occupational Therapist

Robin Akselrud holds a Master of Science from Touro College in Bay Shore, NY, and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. Dr. Akselrod has over 15 years of experience in a variety of clinical practices, areas including early intervention, schools, home care, and hand therapy. In addition to her clinical work, Robin is an assistant professor in the LIU OT program.


Occupational Therapist

Lenore Taranto is a graduate of New York University where she earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Lenore has over 8 years of experience working in geriatrics, both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as home care and pediatrics. Lenore enjoys being an occupational therapist because it is rewarding to watch patients return to their normal daily lives and routines. Her outgoing and friendly nature will help patients reach their full potential.

Nathaniel Donaldson II was born and raised in Somerset,  NJ, and attended Mercer County Community College and Rutgers University.  He fell in love with practice upon suffering an injury and enduring his own physical rehabilitation.  As an individual familiar with both sides of the therapy spectrum he has a great understanding of the importance of the symbiotic relationship between patient and clinician.

Jon obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State & able to speak Mandarin & Taiwanese in addition to English. “PASSION & COMPASSION” are the core values that JON believed in ever since his adolescence stage. Jon’s mother was an RN in Taiwan & now R.D. At America. Jon loves to travel in his spare time in addition to apply the science of healing and the art of caring to all his patients during skilled physical therapy sessions.
