Who can benefit from In-Home Physical Therapy?

We like to say that In-Home Physical Therapy is for everybody, but there are definitely some people that might find it more convenient than others. In our experience, most of the patients that choose this service are:

1.)  Busy Professionals (bankers, lawyers, accountants, healthcare professionals typically aged 40-65) who don’t have a lot of spare time and find it more efficient to have a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy come to them.

2.)  Retired or Active Older New Yorkers who want the private and discreet experience of a private high-quality therapist.

Regardless of which one of those group you might be in (or if you’re in an entirely different category), about half of our patients come to us to deal with pain, injuries, or post-operative surgical rehab (typically “Orthopaedics” – as in muscle, bone, ligament, tendon).

The other half have difficulty walking, climbing stairs, and/or recently falling, balance issues, or dizziness due to neurologic conditions such as Strokes (CVA), Parkinson’s Disease, Tremors, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Ataxia, or other related ailments.

No matter your case, our high-performance licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy professionals are experienced and knowledgeable in evaluating and treating ALL of these conditions and are eager to work with you.
